Droid to Panasonic Viera

Hello I have a Samsung tablet that I would like to connect to my Panasonic Viera TV. I have an HTMI cable and have it plugged in however we can’t get the Samsung screen to show up on the tv. We have the TV set to htmi 3 with the AUX setting. We have even tried the cable setting .... we are at a loss of what to do next

I will do some research on the tablet but the cord we are using is a High Speed HDMI with Ethernet from Amazon basics that is connected to the tablet by a series of reducer cords ( hdmi to usb then a female usb to usb cord for the droid..

I supposevthese intermediate cords, just because they fit together, are not carryng on signals necessary. Can you post exact cables and adapters you're using? And again - what is the model of your tabket?
