I really can't believe how clueless people are sometimes. If you don't want other people having access to something (e.g. your taxes) you shouldn't be putting them in unencrypted cloud storage. Ever.

I stopped using dropbox to store my encrypted passwords which is also protected with a key file a few months ago. The reason I stopped is their recent change in their business agenda that I didn't like.

Also, most users don't fully understand the security features in dropbox so stuff like happens. Not surprising.
