Erratic behavior of HP Pavilion G6 battery

Hi All,

My laptop sometimes run for 2.5 hours on battery and 45 minutes sometimes. I could not understand this strange behavior.

Kindly help in troubleshooting this issue

It's hard to make a diagnosis without seeing the problem.

Have you seen if any program works in the background while you're on battery.
