error while updating windows 7 service pack 1 (error code 80073701)

while updating my windows 7 service pack 1 i am experiencing an error mentioning an error code 80073701

Alternatively, you can download Service Pack one from Microsoft's page: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842

Then try installing it (instead of going through the Update Tool).

You can check your host file. Sometimes it blocks your update. you can also contact with Microsoft and their forum. thank you
