How long do you suppose it'll be before the FBI breaks down some guy's door and ruins his life for posting a harmless picture of his toddler in the tub on FB?

That's true, some housewife posts an image of like their 2 year old in the tub, next thing she knows the FBI breaks down her door and ruins her day...hope the software is just a flagging software and the final judgement is left up to real authorities who can determine if it is child porn or not. This way they won't waste time on the innocent and can go out and catch the real sickos who should be castrated with a dull rusty knife and forced to eat their balls at gunpoint.

lets also say what defines child porn, because some places, even fully clothed childern in pictures can constiture child porn.

you are a parent, your kid wants a... risky... swimware, are you going to tell them no and listen to several hours if not days, and in peoples i knows case, months, of complaining and whining about not having it. as some point most would give in.

you take a picture of her, and face book it, and than... 3 weeks later, police kicking your door in for it...

if i could remember the link, i would post it, but this happened to a guy in america. a few months later he got let out, and law was stricken, but every new child porn law brings with it a "even fully clothed" clause to it.

this will be used, and abused... only a matter of time.

lets hope that few innocent people get caught in the cross fire before the system is better refined.

------------

side note, couldn't a hacker possibly get at the database? lets hope they bring down parts of the server while its being monitored.
