whats happening when powered up the usual start up noises like hard drive sound. Just the post lights come on and the fan. Nothing else. cant open dvd mechanically. 1) HARD DRIVE 2) PROCESSOR 3) ?

Firstly, you should not have turned it back on immediately, secondly sometimes you just have to take it to a professional, you could take it apart, and clean everything, but, I would just not wanna deal with the frustration. Keep it off a few days, then try to turn it on.
