No. 1GB ram is ridiculously little these days. Your graphics card will also be the bare minimum to run it.

It depends but I do not encourage that. If you have a decent processor then maybe you can try but the performance will not be good. I run with 2GB of RAM and with integrated graphics (750MB) runs fine for me. But for best performance get 4GB of memory and a decent GPU.
