Hello all,

I was going through the setup to install a program on my laptop when I received this
"File is being used by another process" error. I'm trying to install DiskAid. I don't already have it on my laptop. When the error came up I tried to install an alternative but, that too, came up with the same error. Tried many others with the same problem.

The error looks like this:

Now I'm not very tech savvy so I have no idea how to solve this. Any ideas? Remember to use simple terms!

P.S. I'm on Windows 8.

Thank you all :)

Try opening your task manager (right click on a blank area of your taskbar -> select "Start Task Manager), then click on the Processes tab. See if you can find something related to that file (DigiDNA or DiskAid), then click on End Process. Try your install once you've done that and see if it proceeds.
