How do i get files to open always says file not supported

Depends on what kind of file it is. Not all files that you can access on a computer can be accessed on a mobile device. You may well not be able to open it.

I would first try searching Google Play Store for any type of app that can read/open the file type you are trying to access. If it is possible, there would be an app there.

If you can't find one, or it doens't work, then the file type just may not open on your device.
