The IP address it had in your home isn't valid any further than the range of your router. It could be anything now if its even turned on and being used in a network.

You need to contact the service provider and stop the account because if the finder or thief is using it to make calls or download data, you will have to pay for it.

If you buy aother phone, buy some tracking software in case it gets lost again.
