Use your File Manager, look for a folder named .Lost and see if they're in there. It's Android's equivalent to Windows Recycle Bin and sometimes, people get lucky.

Were they stored in the internal system folders or on a SdCard? If the latter, pull the card, buy a carrier to fit into your PC or laptop. Then you can try recovery software.

If they were in the internal folders - DCIM, perhaps - there is a EaseUS product you can find in the Play Store that might help you.
