I am looking to buy a laptop for general usage, but I would also like to be able to play games such as minecraft, the sims 3, rome total war 2 (possibly). I would like to be able to play these and other similar games at at least mid to low settings with solid fps

these are the laptops i am currently looking at, any help with which would be better for gaming would be greatly appreciated

Those are your best bet. I own a Trinity laptop and they´re great for gaming, Richland is even better and they´re both very energy efficient compared to a discrete GC. I would wait for Kaveri though it´s about to come out and should boast significantly better gaming capabilities. Just wait a month or two. You could also try a 730m or r7 m265, but richland will perform on par and probably with a lower price tag
