Fire tv stick with sony ht ct790

Can I connect Amazon fire tv stick to my sony ht ct790 sound bar and pass video signals to my tv. My tv does not have HDMI arc.

Plugging the Fire TV Stick in to the sound bar you would still need a TV with an HDMI input I believe:

I have a tv but it does not have hdmi arc input. It has basic hdmi.

Are you saying you do not have an empty HDMI port on the tv for the firestick? You should do not need ARC if you plug directly into an hdmi port on the tv.
I plug my ROKU into an HDMI port on my tv. My tv does not have arc.
If for some reason you need to plug into the soundbar, I do think you would need ARC to route it back to the tv.
If you do not have enough HDMI ports on the tv, maybe you could get an HDMI switch or something not sure but maybe someone else can address that.
