Firestick Light Keep Flashing yellow light

I have not used my firestick for awhile. When I turn it on, the light is flashing yellow. What do I need to do?

Is it plugged into power? Is there a wireless connection available for it? I don't even see a light on mine, and never had, are you sure you meant firestick and not Fire TV? Is your TV set to the input you have the device plugged into?
