First smart phone

Just looking for a recommendation for my first smart phone. I'm currently anti-apple and I'm tech-savvy. I'll need to use this phone for my business, syncing emails and such. Would you recommend google, windows, droid, etc?

I would recommend Android - something like Samsung Galaxy S II; however BlackBerry would be best if it is to be used primarily for emails
