Solved! Flat ribbon cables

Going from the t-con board to the led display, I have 2 ribbon cables..do tvs have a different number and size of connectors in that flat ribbon cable? Im used to flat ribbons in laptops all being the same dependent on the part...

if you are lucky it could be the same, but most ribbon cables are very different in size, pin count or connectivity (thickness)

There is no standard ribbon cable in TVs. Most manufacturers make them so you can't connect a ribbon cable incorrectly by making them different.
