Solved! Flat sound on a good headset

On my laptop, my headset audio is very good with very nice and clear bass, but on my PC, there is little to no bass and the sound is lower compared to when I plug it into my laptop.

I am using a pair of JBL Quantum 200s, I know that it has good bass and sound quality. Am I doing something wrong on my PC? I use RealTek HD Audio drivers for the PC and my laptop has Conexant SmartAudio drivers.

this might be because of a not good quality onboard audio solution. You could get something like this, to enhance the sound quality:

I'm using the y-splitter and I have it connected to the back since the sound only works on one side if I plug it into the front.

It's supposedly a Biostar A68MHE FM2+. I'm not really sure since this is a pre-built.

Alright, I did it, but the bass and overall sound is still pretty flat sounding.
