Question Following instructions

I am totally new to photography. I have a Panasonic DC-FZ82.
The manual seems to assume that you know a certain amount. I am learning, got books and watching videos but struggling with his to use the zoom. Vivid prevents me from meeting up with anyone or going to a class. Does anyone know where I can get fuller instructions for this camera. Thanks.

best you can do is to watch youtube videos. maybe even join some camera/photography forums where you can get help as needed. A lot of times, it is not the specifics of the specific camera but a general knowledge of photography as a whole. Once you have that, a lot of the camera settings would make more sense and easier to remember. check out dpreview forums.
