The replay mode of Fortnite Battle Royale has made it easy for a lot of players to record and edit their best moments and post them online. If you want to learn more about the replay mode then refer the guide below:
Finding Fortnite Replay:
Firstly, you should know how you can get to the right screen for replay. So to access the replay mode of the game. Go to the Battle Royale menu and then go to the tab of career. Now choose the option that says replays at the right. You will then see a list of your unsaved replays. Not the easiest option but it is there. Now within the Fortnite replay mode, you will see a lot of options and most of them are intuitive but we will go over all of them.
Manipulating Footage:
The eye will allow you to hide the HUD which will give you a better sense of your final replay. Press “H” and it will let your cycle through different options. If you click the tiny person, it will bring up the list of players that will include their data like shield and health. If you click on one of them, you will be able to make them your subject and follow their perspective.
The camera is actually two-pronged so it lets you adjust some of the visual goodies like nameplates. But it also lets you adjust the finer aspects of the image like focal length. These things might sound technical but if you mess with them a bit, you can produce some good results.
Now next is the playback bar. The arrows present on each end will pull you towards the end or beginning footage or between the milestones like death or elimination. These things are marked on the bar which shows the length of footage. The curved arrows will jump the footage forward or backwards 15 seconds. You can also slow down the footage or speed it up and you can pause and play it as well.
Finding Best Camera Angle:
The most important thing is the subject that you are choosing to view the footage from. You can cycle that through the player indicator at the right side of the playback bar. And you can also shift the perspective with camera options on the right side of that. These angles of the camera will contribute to the feel and look of the replay so it is best to know them well. The 3rd person will follow your subject at a flat, easy, close on an angle which is suitable for the inside of buildings or tight space encounters.
With a bit of fiddling, you can get more cinematic angles with the drones. The drones actually follow the traces of the movement of your subject from the static position as you fly camera to keep up. The Drone attach does its best to follow the subject in the over the shoulder view which can be adjusted with controls.
