Question Fortnite huge FPS drops

Hey guys,

I have the ASUS N705FD. Whenever I choose auto-set quality my game keeps lagging a lot and there are huge fps drops.

Here are my specs: View: https://i.imgur.com/tIqEZcA.png

(The recommended settings are: View: https://i.imgur.com/GCwadu0.png
, but it's unplayable with these)
I tried tweaking the settings to make it better, I turned shadows off, lowered anti-aliasing, did many combinations but whatever I did couldn't manage to make the game run as smooth as it should on 60 FPS. If I set the specs too low it uses the integrated graphics so that's even worse.
The Minimum fps is very inconsistent during the game, sometimes its 50 sometimes its 15. I don't have problems with my internet, I have a stable fiber optic internet connection.

I've recently upgraded my RAM, I had 8GB - now I have 16GB, and for some reason now it's even worse, but it's different - https://streamable.com/aztn7z here's a video of it ( sorry for the camera recording, this was for a friend)

BTW, I have installed Geforce Experience and I've set the driver as Game ready driver.
I tried installing Razer Cortex for the boost, didn't work.
My laptops plan is on High performance.
It's getting really frustrating. Any suggestions? :(

and it play fine on lowest settings?
when you take the spec screenshot was it idle? temp look a little high
No, on lowest settings it lags even more because then it uses my integrated Intel graphics.
When I took the screenshot I had chrome and some other apps in the background. The temp when playing Fortnite is usually very high. I'm also using a cooler but it doesn't do much
