Fraps FPS Major Drop

Hi. I recently got the full version of fraps, and i would like to know how i can record Minecraft without it lagging so much. when i play regular its at like 100fps and when i record its at like 5-6fps. when i play with a minimized screen it goes from 100 to 9-11fps which is playable, but i want to record at like 30-50fps. help?
