I have a Samsung Galaxy phone, SM-J100ML, and the internal memory storage is full but I have free space on the the external 8gig memory card. How do I free up space on the phone's internal memory, I cannot work out how to access it. Thanks

Well, if the phone is running its original OS, then you won't be able to move apps to the SD card. However, if you have or can update the OS to Android "Marshmallow" then you might be able to turn the SD card into "Internal" storage rather than "External". It will also depend on if the manufacturer has removed this option on that device. They actually do this sometimes.

1. Go to device “Settings”, then select “Storage”.
2. Select your "SD Card", then tap the “three-dot menu“ (top-right), now select “Settings” from in there.
3. Now select “Format as internal”, and then “Erase & Format”.
4. Your SD Card will now be formatted as internal storage.
5. Reboot your phone.

NOTE: If you don't reboot the phone, many things may not work correctly, so make sure you do.
