fresh install on laptop

I have an asus rog g751jm that came with windows 8 and I did the free upgrade to windows 10
but now I am replacing the ram and installing an ssd and want the os on the ssd

( I did the free upgrade on desktop it didn't perform well. but after fresh install it runs great)

so my question is should I? and how can I do this?

So whats the question? If you want to install 10 on the laptop. Install it

But you cant use the same key on the laptop if you used it on the desktop

Your upgraded OS has been registered to your motherboard.

You just need installation media and you can do a fresh install.
You can download Microsoft's media creation tool and download an ISO image of windows 10. Then you can install it to USB or CD (USB is so much faster).
