Fujitsu siemens lifebook ah531 i cant remove the battery

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook AH531 and the battery came out when dropped (only half a foot and on carpet) I cliped the battery back in but now cannot slide the catch over to release it.

It is running off the battery at the moment fine, but when I plug it in it is saying plugged in but not charging.

Any ideas?

Hi

It sounds like you damaged one of the clips ,either on the battery or the lappy....

Look VERY closely at them...
