Fx 9830p + rx 460 or i5-7200u + 940mx

I am currently looking for a laptop for college work and occasional gaming on a budget and found this laptop on sale:

ASUS K550i Gaming Laptop

AMD FX 9830P 3.0 GHz

8GB RAM

1000GB HDD

AMD Radeon R7 with 1 GB dedicated Primary Graphics

AMD Radeon RX 460 with 4 GB dedicated Linked Graphics

15.6" HD display

DVD Drive

Would you consider it a good deal or am I better off going for an Acer E5 575g with an i5 7200u and 940mx for $100 more.

Any input would be appreciated.

what do you plan on playing on this laptop?
it looks alright but beware that the start up time will be quite long and in general slow to do things like move files, find files, ect

Stick with the Intel. Much less issues with over heating than that FX.

go with intel, cpu preformance will make up for a slighltly worse GPU
