Galaxy S4 running out of battery

I got a Galaxy S4 recently and I noticed that my phone runs out of battery very fast. When I put the phone in my pocket, it starts to get warm and it starts to lose battery fast. Apparently if you put the phone on standby it will last for quite a while but my phone battery life only lasts one day and im only using it for a total of 2 hours. Is it normal for it to run out that fast? I charge my phone every night.

Its not normal i use to have the same problem put with different phone i changed battery oh wait you'r phoone used or new if its used then its the battery if its new then i dont know Lol
