Galaxy S5 questions

According to this, the S5 has a quad core 2.5ghz cpu. Is this correct? Is the 2.5ghz total? If thats correct then the phone is more powerful than my laptop, and thats hard to believe considering the phones nice and chilly while my laptop pushes 90C under load.

2.5 per core... but its not apples to apples. CPU processors do alot more work per cycle.

say you have a 2.0ghz quad core i5 CPU in your laptop... it's still about 4x more powerful than your phone cpu

and also, if you're gaming, your CPU/GPU on your laptop are running at 100%. if you do something on your phone that makes it run at 100%, it will get hot as wel

The s5 doesn't use the same type of CPU that your PC uses so you can realy compair them. Hell a AMD CPU and intel CPU clocked the same both x86 cpu's have totally different performance.
