You know of any business that will allow a competitor to suvive? any business that will allow another to eat into its profits? and that too by copying and lifting design .. features etc? Know any business that wants to be the leader and be on the top? .. YEAH MOST EVERY BUSINESS .. every Company.. so Whats wrong about what Apple is doing? Samung.. ur such a loser of a company that you had to stoop so low and copy off of Apple.. shameful.. thats the level of Asian companies.. thats how low these folks will stoop...

Whats Business? first out the door, garner enough market share and double up..
Ok so Apple did what @skyjogger said... so? fact is.. Apple patented it because it was smarter and thought ahead of the game and knew what it was doing..

APPLE pioneered and created a demand for something which nobdoy ENVISIONED.. or thought of.. the Handheld and? succeeded.. too much for people's liking.. and like always.. when someone wins for too long.. we start hating them and look for another superstar..another hero to cheer.. sorry folks.. its not Samsung.. or any of these asian companies.. YET..

Apple created THE MOST INNOVATIVE product in the history of the modern world.. it has crossed boundaries and created a demand and value thats unsurpassable.. so far.. and what do these upstart asian companies do all this while? sit tight on their asses feeding same dull boring ugly designs and products to the gullible buyer.. and what did they notice after Apple's success? ah an opportunity.. keep a similar UI.. similar design of hardware.. and lets fool the world and sell and make some money.. BUSINESS? yes maybe.. so? Apple Patents and does business and brings these asses to the ground.. PAY UP or SHUT DOWN.. period!! FAIR GAME..
.. now if you go and say patents have no meaning? then you are out of your mind to think this.. so because these asian pricks came late to the game we suddenly devalue the meaning and importance of patenting and trademarkign copyright etc etc..

Apple.. did it better.. and with IOS.. correct? what about Samsung..? what did they do better? Do they even have their own OS .. oh yes they do.. Android!!.. whose? Google's!!.. .. mm competing with Apple? excuse me..? .. a hardware manufacturer who was given components to manufacture and suddenly decides to become a player manufacturing gadgets..? and what not.. innovate? I dont even want to discuss this..
I am Done with this thread.. you all can talk all you want.. but remember.. ur late.. and ur copycats..will be a while before another sony comes to change the Lifestyle.. Apple came in from the west.. East still has to wait.... I am sure...
