Hi all please could someone in the know help identify what could be causing this issue - think the behaviours are related.
Whenever I play a game on the laptop it runs ok for anywhere between 15 mins to 1 hour and then either:
1) Game crashes unexpectedly, "submit error report" box pops up; or
2) The laptop freezes and the image on the screen glitches, all the colours cycle/flash cmyk/rainbow colours. Laptop totally locks up and I have to do a hard reset.
I have tried:
- Keeping the laptop & power supply cool by elevating them and placing them under a fan, both are cool to the touch when glitch occurs
- updating all graphics drivers, bios, etc. available using the Dell support tool
-doing a system and hardware scan using the support tool (no issues)
-reinstalling/repairing Microsoft c++ (all versions where possible)
