Games stutter heavily on Balanced and High Performance mode, but run better on Power Saver mode.

This is an issue that happens with all games, at least 3D games, i have no such problem with 2D games. Anyways, all of the games i play stutter after 5 or 10 minutes of gaming on High Performance, Balanced and on the Razer Cortex Power Plan, i have tried everything, updating drivers, cleaning my fans, changing the performance settings, etc. I really have no clue why, but games run at like 20fps on Power Saver mode, but don't stutter at all. This has got me very confused and i just want to throw away my laptop because of this, please help me.

Update: I read about replacing the Thermal Paste, could that help my case?
