Hi there, I’m new to the audio section but hope u can help.
I have a gaming creative fatal1ty headset (with the 2 jacks not usb) when I used it on my old pc (dell e520, windows xp, integrated sound).
I had no complaints however when I use it with my new pc my mic is awful full of static over my voice, my new pc is ANTEC 902 case, GA-MA790X-UD3P motherboard and using the integrated sound.
The Antec 902 case is known for static issues but I thought that was just over the audio out front jack and I have tried plugging the headphone jack into both the front and the back.
Basically I would like to know if it is my new pc and should I invest in a dedicated sound card?
Thx tim
