Gaming Laptop Customization

I'd love some help determining if this computer is a good deal. I've been out of the gaming laptop market for a few years, and I've been doing my research, but some help would be appreciated. I've customized this computer on Xotic: MSI Apache Pro

Is it a good deal? Are their reasonably similar laptops out there (spec wise) that are a bit cheaper? Or something markedly better for a similar price? Anything you'd recommend changing in the current build? I'd take any and all help! Thank you.

The price is right there with the rest of the gaming laptops. This Sager is a little cheaper and I like the SSD better:

And you could get a 17 inch, same specs for about 100 bucks more.

When you say you like the SSD better, which one were you talking about? The Samsung Evo, Samsung Pro, or the Micron?

The Samsungs are great drives. The Micron gets mixed reviews.
