Gaming Laptop for College

I leave for college in a couple of weeks so I need to figure this out urgently.

I am looking for a gaming laptop that I will be able to use all 4 years in college. Id like to keep things around $1000 US. After some research, I was set on a 1050ti but then some were saying a 1060 is needed. I'm not looking for maximum graphics but to be able to run AAA titles on medium-ish graphics. A laptop with an SSD or at least an SSD boot drive is also a must. Any suggestions?

Any other options? I was looking at the Dell but some were saying that the CPU and keyboard were lacking. And I've had issues with Acer in the past and would rather avoid it if I can.

Within that budget, those are the balance in specs you can get.

There are other options but they have a weaker GPU and CPU in some cases. There are some laptops with an i7 but a GTX 1050Ti or so.

Check PC specialists. You can customize all whats inside. I have one of these.

But for me I would go for DELL. They are expensive bit sometimes they have decent deals worth waiting if you are not in rush.
