Gaming Laptop pricing

So I am looking for a new gaming laptop since mine died on me. Was looking at the Alienware 17. They quoted me 2200 canadian for this setup.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ (Quad-Core, 6MB Cache, up to 3.5GHz w/ Turbo Boost)
8gb 2133mhz ddr4 ram
980m 4gb
1tb hd
17 inch display

Was just wondering if anybody had any input on the price. I'm know my way around desktop pc's and what I'm paying for, but with laptops I'm a little behind the times. I was a bit unsure with the processor since I have yet to see that anywhere else being advertised as of yet, the 2133 ddr4 ram I also thought was good.

I would say that the price is good.

That seems reasonable, as you're going to be into one around $2k here in the States with last gens CPU and DDR3. I have also read on Nvidia's website that they are going to put full blown GTX 980 desktop GPU's in some laptops coming up, but have no idea what the pricing structure will be.
