Hello,

I have recently been looking at investing in a cheap gaming laptop to play WoW BFA, Stardew valley and Terraria. The most strenuous game that the laptop will be exposed to is wow, and perhaps some light OW at my boyfriend's house. The only issue is, I know nothing about PCs. He mentioned that the more expensive laptop will have more longevity due to it having 4 cores and not 2. For my needs, what laptop would be better?

Solution
Get at least a 1060 with a decent CPU (7th gen i7/8th gen i5 - the latter is better). Anything less than 1060 will be obsolete soon, especially with the discounts incoming due to RTX (in CES - January) it is foolish not only to buy now but also to pay so much for a bad 1050.
