Gaming laptop - up to 1000 UK pounds

Hello,
Are there any people from UK here? I'm new in Uk and right now i'm searching for laptops under 1050 UK pounds to replace my pc... the aim is to play newest games...

i've seen Dell Alienware m17, and MSI GX780,

musthave's:
17'3 inch monitor
best possible (for that amount of money of course) i7 cpu / best possible nvidia/ati radeon video card.
RAM may not be higher than 6gb (i can add later if i feel the need, right?)
dvd R/Rw combo

usb3 would be a nice option ... but not a musthave...

If there are any people from uk who know where i can buy such a pc (i live in london), and have suggestions please - feel free to post .

Right now i'm wavering between MSI gaming laptop and Alienware - but they come in many different variations and prices (!)...

you could also look at Asus, but I've heard they are actually cheaper in USA than in Europe (which is strange)

and you can look for Clevo models on reseller websites
