1. What is your budget?
$1000 pref. but would go as high as $1300

15.6 or 17.3

1920x1080

Replacement for 2009 Macbook Pro - reason below

5. How much battery life do you need?
Doesn't matter

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
YES! Would like high to Ultra settings. Mostly play League of Legends, but occasionally play Blizzard games, Battlefield and SWTOR

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Web browsing, watching movies, some music programs

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Any size. Have an extra Kingston Hyper3k 128gb SSD lying around, so a HD with a SSD cache or something else would work

Newegg, ncix, tigerdirect, amazon

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
4+ years

Any, probably won't use much, or would consider swapping for a HDD or SSD caddy

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Open to any brand, but looked into Lenovo (y510p), ASUS (ROG), MSI (60/70 series), Sager

Would personally stay away from Dell/Ailenware because of bad experiences with Dell, and Razer b/c of the price

13. What country do you live in?
United States

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

Looking to replace my 2009 Macbook pro. Its done the job for college, now I'm looking for a gaming laptop to have when I'm not at home or unable to use my desktop. Seriously considering Lenovo y510p with Dual Graphics cards, 4700 core, 16gb of ram for $1300. If I can get similar stats, with a bigger screen for the same money or cheaper, I'm sold!

Thanks!

Solution
personally i'd suggest the asus g75 with gtx670mx for about $1000

pro
-2 hdd slots (can add your ssd easy)
-very nice (for a laptop) large 1080p screen
-plays games at max (within reason considering its a laptop)
-usb3, all the goodies
-good cooling system

con
-windows 8
-internal subwoofer isnt too good but not terrible
-not a fan of chiclet keys
-rubber coating is a dust magnet
