Since you are given options to select the GPU it should be upgradable. I would call customer support and ask to confirm the laptop uses a MXM format graphics card. That is basically like a mini PCI-e graphics card for laptops. The laptop uses desktop CPUs so the CPU can definitely be upgraded. Whether or not you can install an 8th generation "Cannonlake" CPU (expected to be released in 2nd half of 2017) remains to be seen. It will be a socket 1151 CPU like the current 7th generation "Kaby Lake" CPUs, but the laptop may need to BIOS update.
