Gaming laptop

hey all, i was looking for a gaming laptop between $800-$1000 and was hoping u could help me. i need a laptop between 15-17 inches and im going to play titles like bf3, mw3, dead island, minecraft etc.

Core i5 2410M(2.30GHz) CPU, 4GB RAM, 750GB HDD 15.6" 1366x768 LCD w/ NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics card.
It's a good all-round laptop with a decent gaming graphics card at a good price.

Core i5-2410M 2.3GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB 7200RPM HDD, 17.3" 1600x900 LCD w/ NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M graphics.
You'll options for 1080 LCD screen, GT 555M graphics card and i7-2360 quad CPUs as well.


HP Pavilion dv7 Quad Edition Core i7 "Sandy Bridge" Laptop $940
Also a good option at the top end of your budet with 1080p display and Radeon HD 6870 graphics card.

It has the same Core i7-2360QM quad core Sandy Bridge CPU and Radeon HD 6770M graphics card as the dv7tm. So it's gaming performance will be the same.
It has all the expected nice extras, WiFi, Webcam, Bluetooth, etc.
The 15.6" 1366x768 LCD resolution vs the 17.3" 1600x900 resolution. 1600x900 would have been nice - but 1366x768 resolution is OK.

I think the best overall value is the HP Pavilion DV6 6050 @ Rs 79,500
It has the Core i5-2410M 2.2Ghz dual core CPU - but everything else is the same.
That Core i5-2410M & Radeon HD 6770M is a good match for the 1366x768 LCD resolution. It should get nearly the same results as the more expensive Core i7-2360QM.
