Gaming PC or Gaming Laptop $1,300

Hello! I am new to the PC building and researching stuff, so sorry in advance for any stupid stuff. I am currently trying to decide whether I should get a gaming desktop for $1300 or a laptop for the same price. The portability would be nice, but I want a lot of power, for it will be my main gaming computer. I must record, and run skype, chrome, and the game. Which is the better idea? I have the list for parts of the desktop, but I have no laptop idea (maybe some ideas from you guys).

Desktop without a doubt especially if your wanting to do all of those things simultaneously.

I'd take a look at https://pcpartpicker.com/ instead of Amazon as it gives you a better selection of components, checks compatibility and checks other sellers prices.

If you set roughly $250 dollars aside for peripherals you can get a good gaming pc for $1050.
