Gateway MT6707 Laptop underside charging

Hello,
If the A/C Adapter connection is faulty, can one still charge the Gateway MT6707 through the docking station connections on the bottom near the battery and which terminal is the positive side?

Yes, should be able to, but that depends on the docking station. Does it have it's own power connection? If yes, just plug in the laptop and hook up the docking station to the power brick.

Thank you for your response. My problem is that I am on a ship and I have no Charging and or Docking Station. I can create a 19 Volt power supply but I would like to know which of the two pins on the bottom of my Gateway MT6707 is the positive terminal.
