[citation][nom]yekoor[/nom]After a few days, when Russia deciced to interfer, to defend its internationally accepted peace troops stationed in S.O. and to protect the civilians with Russian citizenship, the western channels woke up and started accusing Russia of all the deadly sins.[/citation]

And if the US decided to bomb and send troops and tanks into Mexico because they are killing innocent Americans in Tijuana, do you think the world would accuse the US of invading Mexico? When Palestinians are bombing Israel and Israel comes in and to stop them, the world claims Israel is invading Palestine. Im not saying any one on either side of these scenarios is right or wrong, Im just saying if the world claims the others are an "invasion", why would you assume that the world wouldnt call it an "invasion" when Russia does it?

[citation][nom]starhoof[/nom]And you know whats funny ? Its not the government trying to hack georgian websites... Just hackers who try their skills at work and just because of pure hate to the enemy. Would you try to do everything possible to help your side ? I cant tell since its fully up to you.[/citation]

While that' is entirely possible I doubt that the attacks were COMPLETELY uncorrelated. It may be that the russian officials just looked the other way, or that they saw the opportunity and decided it to be an opportune time. One way or another the ddos attack on the gregorians seems to have gone unpunished and largely uninvestigated as far as i have heard. Not to say that I paid THAT much attention to begin with, but there is still the chances of it being a coincidence are entirely too slim. There's part of this story that has gone untold and been covered up and twisted one way or another. But an electronic attack directly followed by a military attack, one can only assume that it was correlated and purposeful. To deny that possibility would to be to deny common sense and logic weather or not they were purposefully related in any way. Only the parties involved will know I guess.

[citation][nom]kartu[/nom]You don't know, if it was government, or not. So SU please. You are talking about country that now has official:"О Комиссии при Президенте Российской Федерации по противодействию попыткам фальсификации истории в ущерб интересам России""Commission to counter the attempts of falsification of history to the detriment of Russia"Hilarious.[/citation]
so what does this has to do with hacking and DDosing ? did you just went out and tried to find something online in Russian and randomly post it with translation ?

[citation][nom]yekoor[/nom]I see there are stil people who believe that Georgians have any truth to tell.[/citation]
You guys seem to have no shame. Russian "priests" are spreading lies about raped kids and hundreds of virgins burnet down in churches.

Your fucking president continues to repeat lies aobut thousands of civilians.

Your fucking RTR central TV station spreads this kind of BS (just compare what Fox has shown and what russia "repeated"):

Your country has "Commission to counter the attempts of falsification of history to the detriment of Russia". God knows how many other "commissions" to falcify do you still have.

After Russia's prosecution office coming with number of 162 killed civilians (at georgian side there are over 200), russian central television still continues to repeat lies about "thousands of killed civilians".

Russia was fighting in that war from the very beginning, somewhere mid July 2008. Russian jets were there already on 8th in the morning.

Russian "peacekeepers" (e.g. leutenant Oleg Golovanov) were correcting ossetian artillery fire on 7th of August. AND THAT ACCORDING TO OSSETIAN SOURCES:
http://www.osradio.ru/news/genocid/eid/14326.html

Ossetian "genocide site" war registered weeks ahead of the "genocide" itself.

[citation][nom]Pei-chen[/nom]You must agree strongly with this statement: "The only good Russian is a dead Russian".[/citation]
No, that's rather russian way of thinking.
In fact I have a number of ethnic russian friends and our relations didn't change after this invasion and "implicit occupation" => "explicit occupation" transformation.

Well, you are missing some important details in this analogy. Correct would be:

US invades part of Mexico because they are killing innocent Americans in Tijuana.
US drives big part of the local population out and pillages the cities.
Then US announces, that the only way, to stop antihuman, fascist mexicans, is by recognizing independence of the occupied part and by building a couple of US military bases there.
