Get dvd player to work

I bought a as seen on tv antenna and noe my dvd player won't play. It turns on but no sound or picture

Not sure I understand what the antenna has to do with the dvd player. Did you unhook the dvd player to connect the antenna?

Did you select the input that the DVD was connected to?
