Get Visual Feedback of Touchscreen in Android

You can enable the visual feedback for the touchscreen of your Android smartphone.

When the visual feedback of touchscreen is enabled on an Android device, every time you tap anywhere on the screen, a big dot (circle) becomes visible at the location where you have tapped. The circle remains there for up to one second, and then gradually fades away. With the help of this circle, you are able to recognize the exact location where you tapped a moment ago.

Since the option to enable the visual feedback on your Android device is available in the Developer Options section, most of the times this feature is enabled or disabled for testing purposes only.

However, if you, as a curious Android user, want to explore various features that this mobile operating system offers, you can follow the steps given below to enable the visual feedbacks of touchscreen on your Android smartphone:

■Press the power button to turn on your Android phone.
■Tap the menu icon to go to the apps list.



■From the displayed interface, tap the Settings icon.



■Once the Settings interface comes up, under the SYSTEM section, tap Developer options.



■On the Developer options window, slide to set the Developer options toggle button ON from the top-right corner.
■Under the INPUT section on the same interface, tap to check the Show touches checkbox to get visual effects of touchscreen in your Android device.
