Gmail Labs has seen a couple of really cool features added to Google’s mail that users have been crying out for for months. The latest is Tasks, a to do list that you can pop out and run alongside your Google Calander.

Hmm...well...if MS can't take over the search business I guess there is no reason Google shouldn't try their hand at the OS business.

Between their online office suite and mail and all this, they are well on their way! I seem to remember a probably unrelated Google branded linux distro going on some Wal-Mart PCs or...something like that.

I wonder if they are up to something.
