OMG too good..... Hahaha best thing I've heard today.

It's a collectible, you buy it for the unique experience. It's not like something you walk into a photostore to buy to improve your gear. Unless you don't have a Leica from before that is..

30000$ may seem much but that Leica with the lens normally would fetch 10000$ on it's own without all the gold and stuff.

So much win

Even if I had the money to throw away on a camera that costs $30k, and the mentality to do such a thing, the camera is gold plated. I think that anyone who has 30k to throw away like this probably has a lot more money they can throw away and should wait till they have a fully gold camera not plated.

I'd rather invest it on or donate to projects that feed the sick and the poor - a $100 camera would suffice, and be fore valuable in real terms.

another waste of earth's precious metals so teh extravengately and grossly wealthy can feel great about thier pathetic lives.

... the People's Republic of China...
Is that an oxymoron? I guess I just don't understand that phrase.[/citation]

no that is actually the name of the country in it's "offical" title. yeah i know stupid , but when china reformed under communism they knew "russian" communism was not popular among thier citizens .. so they used this offical title to difreintiate them selves from russia.
