So, i have a HP Pavilion g6 from 2011 that i got for Christmas, its worked fine until recently, something is making the harddrive go bad, it killed my original one and a new one, i got a guy to fix it (again) and it seems to be working, but he said it could happen at any time and when it dose we'll know that its something not worth fixing (already put $200 into fixing a $300 laptop D:)

So IF it does f**k up again ill need a new laptop, and need it to be under $400, i use the word "gaming" lightly as any real gaming laptop cost atleast $1000, so i don't need anything god-tier. Mine works fine for just about all my games (playable on high settings)

I just want something that can rum the games i run, mostly minecraft, tf2 (on lowest settings or using chris's config is fine with me) hearthstone, and maybe some newer games on low with atleast 50 fps?

What would you recommend?

Thanks brobeans :p

What's the main purpose of owning a laptop?

Do you need mobility, or is it just a space issue?

You could build a mini ITX setup for a decent price that will run those games well enough. You would still need Windows/Monitor/Mouse/Keyboard.
