I'm in the market for a new laptop that I will use ProTools First on. I will probably eventually upgrade to the next level of ProTools, but right now I am just starting out. I want a laptop that is
a) a PC
b) under $400
At the under-$400 mark, you'll mostly be getting very weak laptops with Celeron processors. They'll work with Pro Tools for productivity purposes, but they'll be slow.
