Good Megapixels and Shutter speed for a budget.

Hello all, I am looking to buy my first digital camera in ever. Nothing too fancy I won't use it too often so I don't want anything to price-y, I have just found myself going to a lot of concerts this year and a lack of a camera has been disappointing. Mainly I am just looking for something with good megapixels with a quick shutter speed so I can take pictures on the move. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks.

Megapixels is not the most important criterion. The lens and the sensor size are the two most important factors that determine the quality of photos.
