Good options for recycling old TVs and gadgets?

Over the years I've accumulated a lot of things. My kids (now grown) have also left behind things like TVs, systems, and PC parts that are no longer compatible/useable today. I'm looking for recommendations on how to recycle them.

Google up " local ewaste recycling" there will probably be some company that will take it off your hands, most likely for free. There are also likely seasonal ewaste events as well so check your local news. You can also check your city/county website as they will probably also have information on ewaste recycling events.
